About this event

"Why does customer satisfaction matter in governments? After all, we really don't have customers, we have hostages." -Ken Miller

Our customers are our neighbors, friends, and fellow citizens of our communities. We, as county government employees, have chosen to be in public service - to serve the public - we should do it spectacularly! We have a unique opportunity to be a positive force in the lives of our clients and customers. If we do customer service really well, we reap the benefits in improved systems, positive morale, job satisfaction, and outstanding results. But good customer service doesn't just happen. Come explore the how and why of outstanding customer service on Friday, October 18 from 9-11am in the Conference Room at the Currituck County Extension Center. In preparation for this session, please complete your registration and the pre-event survey by Friday, October 11. See you soon!
